Good morning everyone, it's me Carol from Hair Salon Tokyo Michaela. I am very happy to continue to share with you here. Today I would like to ask what you think of the hairdressing industry.
Maybe some people think that the hairdressing industry is a relatively low industry. Maybe they think that people in the hairdressing industry will tattoo, smoke, and study harder. But in my opinion, the hairdressing industry is a fashion art industry. It is an industry that can't be learned. Because with the changes of the times and different seasons of fashion, our hairdressing industry also needs to go to classes, read magazines, and understand. Not everyone in the hairdressing industry has tattoos and smoking. I think this is a personal preference. Before I entered the hairdressing industry, I also felt what the hairdressing industry was like, but when I got in touch with me, I understood that the hairdressing industry is an art industry and a fashion industry. I am very happy to stick to this industry, so what I want to say here is that the hairdressing industry is not what everyone thinks.
Thank you.

Hello! I’ve been a hair stylist in Hair Salon Tokyo MICHAELA from it was born and people call me Kenta .

There will be photos before for all y’all reference just in case anyone of you wants to have that design as well!
I sincerely hope these blog entries will help with you in talking care of your hair!
Recently I try to do self cooking due to stay at home.
I tried many times after all I’ve realized that Meijiya is the best grocery store in my mind.
Today I’ll mention about Kind of Ash color.
How do you imagine it when you’ve heard about Ash color?
You may think it’s going to tell that I want Ash Color hair when you discuss the hair color with your stylist.
Alright, yes you’re right sometimes you are in trouble and struggling to tell what you want as your mind honestly because it takes longer time, you are feeling it’s troublesome, you are lazy to tell, you do not want to bother your stylist.
Okay I let you know the truth what are we thinking while discussing about the hair.
Ash color =blue
Yes we really knew it that you don’t want to make your hair blue and you don’t want to make your hair loud.
Please take a look at below
This tends to “Khaki Ash”
Do you like it?
It’s included green as Khaki a lot, Khaki color can cover a lot of reddish tint.
So looking would be Europeans hair.
Second one looks “Ash beige”
Looking is more natural and soft so it suits easier compared to too Ash color.
Third one is “Ash brown “
Looking tends to brown more, in the end how much do you want to remove the reddish tint is important the most.
Of course the colors have each strength and week point too.
It’s suitable or not, also important but I believe you can suit a lot of type of colors and enjoy yourself, you’ll see different types of your appearance, it’s really exiting right?
See you soon!

Bleach hair can be perm and rebonding?

Good morning everyone, it's me Carol from Hair Salon Tokyo Michaela. Today I am very happy to be able to share with you here, do you have a lot of doubts about whether the bleached hair can be permed and rebonding? When you see these photos,
some customers will say that I want this color and perm, In fact, it can't be done, because the bleached hair can't be permed. What you see in these pictures is the styling, not the perm.
By the way, I am here to share my personal story with you. My hair was once bleached. Then one day I do n’t know why I suddenly wanted to change my styling by perming, or I might be lazy styling every morning. I made up my mind at the moment. If the hair was damaged by the perm, I would cut it short. I was looking forward to the moment when the perm was finished, but couldn't blow it, then my hair was really broken, so I cut the hair directly.
So what I want to tell you is that if you really bleach your hair and do n’t go to perm and rebonding , if you want your hair to be wavy or straight , I suggest that you can buy curl iron or straight iron for the style you want.
Take care and healthy.
Thank you.

DIY Color at Home

Hello, this is receptionist Clara from Hair Salon Tokyo MICHAELA.
It's been while since my last post. Recently it's been announced that MICHAELA will be reopening on the 12th May onwards for only haircuts.
Which will be soon, next week Tuesday!
Days of working at home will come to an end. Currently slots are getting filled up and I do look forward to see customers again.
I'm sure for the stylist themselves who missed their customers a lot during this circuit breaker period. when finally they meet their customers again after a long while I'd reckon they'd be wearing smiles upon seeing their face.
Yesterday I did my hair color using a boxed hair color dye at home since it has been almost 3 months since my last color back in February, my black roots have grow out about 1.5cm, the color has faded out into a light brown that looks especially bright under the sunlight and besides, hair coloring at salon is also out of option. Thus, I chose a cool toned ash color, waited for 20 minutes before rinsing it off.
Until three years ago before I have been getting my hair colored at salons, I have used those liquid mixture and bubble foam type box dyes over a certain period. This time I went with the bubble foam type.
For the color I chose, I wanted to know if the color outcome will be accurate. I went on to various media sites and looked into contents from Japan as well.
Honestly, it was an ambiguous search as there was not a lot of information. (Note: This may differ with other popular colors)
Based on a number of review videos using the products from the same product range. Some people started out with virgin black hair, others with brown hair or lightened hair. Some said that it doesn't work for them, some didn't get what they expected but the outcome was a color that they do not dislike.
So based on the original color tone itself before coloring, there was a large discrepancy in the result of the final outcomes of all those who tried it the same color product.
These were points I took note of :
1) The color before
2) Hair volume, hair texture
3) The color after
TIP. You can also explore the different types of hair color application techniques.
Albeit all the research done, we ourselves too have to be aware of our own hair color, volume, texture and length to be able to gauge the type and amount of color product needed to achieve the desired color. (Tip. You can get these information from your stylists)
Ultimately, when it comes to boxed dyes or color in general, regardless of the outcome, it's important to know that if you really like the look of it, go try it.
I learnt that spending a great deal of time in finding assurance by researching to see how it was for others who used the same product might just be unnecessary.
Hair color to me is ever changing, definitely it is a look that adds to your personal image, and it also works to give you a change of scenery when you really need it.
Till next time!

Good morning everyone, it's me Carol from Hair Salon Tokyo Michaela. Today I am here to share how long after dyeing and perming I can wash my hair. Do you have many questions about when to wash your hair?
Have you heard that you can wash your hair after 3 days, in fact, my personal recommendation is to wash your hair after 24 hours a day. By the way, I ’ll tell you a real story here. This story came from my teacher at the Hairdressing Academy and told me that one of her customers ’daughters was rebounding in other salons. The stylist told her not to wash her hair for a week . When she shampooed her hair after a week, her hair was badly lost and her scalp was red. After that, her mother asked my teacher to ask if there was any way to help her daughter. My teacher helped her get a scalp treatment. This scalp treatment also took several months to get better. She went to school with a hat. So here I want to tell you that you dye hair and perm, etc., as long as you can wash your hair after 24 hours, the reason why her scalp will be, it may be that the hairdresser did not help her clean the scalp hair cleansing chemical liquid.
Thank you.
