And originally I would n’t check if the colour was coloured, then Aya San taught me how to see if it was coloured, and slowly Aya San also let me try and sometimes asked me to check whether it was coloured, I was really afraid I ’m afraid I ’m not careful and I ’m afraid of mistakes. I have tried several times soon and I have confidence in myself. Maybe it ’s because of Aya San ’s trust in me. I also thank her for her trust.
Here I want to tell everyone that if you take the brave step, you will see a different self.
Thank you.

To those who are reading this blog entry right now, Thank you for all of your support.
We all know that Singapore are going through tough times right now. But that's life. Joel Ostend once said "'Nothing happens to you, it happens for you.' See the positive in negative events." Even though most of us are stuck at our homes right now, some of us still put in hard work in our craft. We constantly uses these times to reflect on ourselves as we wish to improve on our very own sets of skills. Times like this are very rare as we usually got distracted by a tons of other stuff but right now, it's time to focus on the things you really set to achieve long time ago.
Despite the short time in the salon, I really appreciate all our Stylists,Assistant and as well as our Receptionist for their patience and their big heart. They had been growing and nurturing me in all aspects in life. Like most of you were already aware that our stylists really worked their ass off to provide a better environment and services. Constantly delivering promised result and obtaining achievements via their workmanship. It really inspire me a lot at the end of every working day to see how they make a difference in another human.
"Blessed are the hairstylists, for they bring out the beauty in others"
-Vidal Sassoon.
For me personally, the working of hair is architecture with a human element. The architects in our salon is so far the best I've seen. Some people might argue that it's hard to build a house with mud and soil while some says it's harder to design the house for us to stay. But from what I see, the most difficult thing in life will be making plans and progress to achieve what you're set to achieve at first! Planning is essential and important!
If you haven't book your next haircut appointments with us, please do so! All of us are very eager to serve all of our customers again! See you guys soon!
By the way, this is Kenneth from Hair Salon Tokyo MICAELA writing! Cheers!

Hello, this is receptionist Clara from Hair Salon Tokyo MICHAELA.
Did you know, at MICHAELA, we provide not only English but Japanese hardcopy magazines for both men and women?
In Singapore, the only place that carries a wide range of Japanese magazines would be Kinokuniya Bookstore. And sadly, Kinokuniya stores are closed like MICHAELA as part of the ongoing Circuit breaker till 4th May until further notice. But they do have their webstore open!
Today's topic will be about 6 Japanese womens magazines that we MICHAELA subscribe to monthly.
With today's technology, everything is more convenient. Language barrier is no more a problem when you can now translate web pages on the spot via Google Chrome browser. (But only for online contents, not the scans!)

and the short sentence inside it made me understand that a job is not to follow what others do and you have to change it, but to understand your customer needs to do change. There is also a short sentence "don't dress for the job you have, dress for the one you want"
but it made me understand that not to serve because of workmanship but to do what I want to serve on my work , so in working will not feel very tired and stressful.
Wish everyone have a good day,
Thank you.
