Hello, this is Clara, a receptionist in Hair Salon Tokyo MICHAELA.

Today's topic will be about what's a day like in MICHAELA as a receptionist. 

In the morning, all the staff will gather for a briefing and announcements for the day's agenda. And also with the recent step-up in precautionary measures for COVID-19, we have temperature checks for all present staffs.
After the briefing, each of us will move on to start preparing the salon for opening, with general cleaning from the reception area to the salon floor. 

Just about time for opening of the salon, the receptionist will be on standy at the counter to greet and receive our very first few customers for the day. 

When the customers arrive, they will be guided to the seat of salon floor and served drinks.

For the time in between customers arrivals and payments throughout the day:

• service sheets for the upcoming payment would be ready
• Enquiries via SNS, Whatsapp will be replied
• new reservations via phonecalls or from our online booking platform would taken
• ​​​​​​​stylists would be informed of any new updates from customers
• both online and physical copy of the reservation schedule for the upcoming days or weeks would be checked and updated
• ​​​​​​​customer's service sheet for the next day would be prepared

The fun part comes in preparing birthday gifts for customers where we make handwritten birthday message cards for customers.

During the last hour, evening cleanup would be the last duty to end the day.

Hi everyone. This is Satoko  from Tokyo Michaela hairsalon.
How are you?
It looks like the weather is finally clearing up!!
In the morning I woke up early and was doing yoga for an hour then I started my job.
When I do yoga, I access through YouTube as I can't go out right now but thanks to that I will be able to do that on my own pace.
Which is really good and convenient. 
I have been doing yoga since 4 years ago. The reason I started was just out of interest.
But I am into yoga more than I thought. For this, yoga is not just moving. We can look at ourselves with an objective approach and we can know our own condition also. This appearing at first glance may looks like easy but actually it is very difficult. We have to keep the awareness going to the end. That's why we can increase concentration naturally.
After finished, range of motion becomes wider and depth of respiration increases, furthermore our movements become more smoother.
When I do yoga, image of my body or soul and all of things have gotten into shape. It's a comfortable activity rather than a strenuous one, it can be done by oneself. So that's why I have been continuing it until now. I make a steady effort every day. 

Alright, from here, I will write about beauty habits.
Sometimes I heard, many people who don't know what to use for own hair. Most of the people are concerned about hair care.

I decisively tell you, you should be changing to a salon-use shampoo.
The body can not change without doing exercise, but shampoo is something necessary do everyday. If you simply continue to use it you will be bound to achieve a maximum effect from it easily.

By the way have you tried TOKIO shampoo that is used in the salon? Fragrance or aroma is lemongrass.
This is a chemically reactive shampoo.
Reactive keratin gets into to the hair and the chemicals  react. Therefore exerting an outstanding repair ability.
In fact I try to wash my hair using products that I feel is the most compatible with the water in Singapore.
And after drying, my hair becomes glossy and kept in place.
The Premium series (gold) is for moisture, the Platinum series (silver) is for smooth texture. 
However hair quality for all of us is different from one another. So if you interested in it, please let us know, we will give you some advice on which product would suit more better for you.

A good day starts. I ’m Carol from Hair Salon Tokyo Michael . Today, I ’m very happy to share with you my experience of practicing highlights. At the beginning of this exercise, I felt a little difficult and I'm  kept telling stylist  im not able to Completed this task within the time, because at the beginning, I haven't been able to complete within 45 minutes, but in the past few days, I kept practicing at home, on the other side, i feel very thank to my stylist, because he never give up me, they are willing to share and teach their experiences and tell me how to improve my skill. Finally, I successful to complete the exercise within 45 minutes at the highlight practice, I feel beyond myself. In these practical, I'm understand one thing, we able to do anything by practice with many times. This is what I practiced.

Here I just want to tell everyone, believe that your own, you will be stronger and stronger through practical. Finally, i want to tell you all, believe yourself, you can do it.

Hello! I’ve been a hair stylist in Hair Salon Tokyo MICHAELA from it was born and people call me Kenta .
In this blog entry, I will write about a hair style at I’ve customized for our very own regular customer.
There will be photos before for all y’all reference just in case anyone of you wants to have that design as well!

I’ve customised her hair shape into a gorgeous diamond-like shape so she will gives off a more feminine vibe. I’ve also taken note of her request of not having short fringes as you can see, she’s taken aback that how the result has came out! In a happy way of course!

About the details on how I design her hair, the outline of her hair will be shorter comparing to the sides followed by a much shorter ends from the ear length. Adding layers from the back as well to gives a fullest texture of the overall hairstyle. But at for the front part of her hair, I chose to not give some much of the layer because it tends to make people look older! 

Lastly we did the MICHAELA SIGNATURE PERM as well!

And tada! The hair blending as one with her, looking all soft and natural!
Lastly, I’ve also recommended her to put hair treatment like our product “milk” before styling with permed hair. It can prevent our hair to be dry! 

Here comes the perks! Styling her hair only requires a short 10-15mins! If you’re keen , please feel free to ask me whenever you want regarding this hair style!
